Aspiring to become the strongest
e-business service company to bridge Japan and the United
States
One US research company
estimates that B2B commerce in the US will grow to $
1 trillion in 2002, and by 2005 will reach an astonishing
$5 trillion. Analysts believe this projection will hold
true despite recent economic slowdowns and terrorist
activities. To put $5 trillion in perspective, it is
larger than Japans current GDP (gross domestic
product).
Ever since EBPass was
formed in 2000, we have had our eyes focused on this
great tide and have held up the vision of
becoming the strongest e-business service company that
bridges Japan and America. To succeed in the Internet
economy businesses must focus on a shared set of objectives:
Flexible manufacturing
Achieving a competitive business advantage
Realize management agility
Efficient operations through cost reduction
Adapting to globalizations
In one respect, the possibility
of actually achieving these goals may have been responsible
for the grand estimates, mentioned earlier. In this
business climate it is an absolute necessity to implement
e-business.. EBPass is taking a 2-step approach to ride
this tide.

First, we are providing support to US-based
Japanese companies to help implement e-business solutions.
Second, we are marketing Japanese best-of-breed web
software applications in the US. Both steps support
a common objective of increasing the presence of Japanese
corporation in the US -- the worlds single largest
market.
Our business philosophy
is to use e-business as a tool to further vitalize US-based
Japanese companies and Japans industrial society.
Our effort to introduce high-quality Japanese software
to the west is especially meaningful to us. Much of
what Japan produces, from manufactured products to games
and animation, have already made its way into the US
market. But, when it comes to business software, Japan
is only an importer. However, in recent years, there
has been much collaboration between Japanese businesses
and academia, which has resulted in a number of exceptionally
well-built business software being introduced. Given
our unique vantage point of understanding both Japanese
and American business practices, we feel strongly that
by marketing these products we are contributing to Japans
industrial society.
We look forward to the opportunity
to serve you.
