Screen Layout

The main screen of the client program is shown below. Both ActiveX and Netscape plug-in versions of the client program feature the same interface.

Video Display Area

Displays video images or still images of other conference participants. The size of video images vary according to the sending and receiving video formats.

Window Controls

Includes controls for switchable chat and document sharing window display, conference participant list display, communication control settings (for users with administrator privileges), and operating environment setup.

Self-View Display

Displays the video image of the user. The user has the option of choosing a still image (.bmp file) instead of a live video image captured by the camera attached to the PC.

Voice Controls

Includes controls for adjusting the speaker output volume, microphone input volume, and disconnecting the audio device.

Connection Status

Current connection status is shown as a color: green="Good", Yellow="Fair", Orange="Poor" and Red="Disconnecting". Connection method is also shown in this area.
